GACC Member Groups

Most Gatwick area community groups with an interest in noise and environmental matters, and many local councils, are members of GACC.  We engage with local groups regularly to ensure we are fully representing their concerns on the airport's statutory Consultative Committee, GATCOM, its Executive Noise Management Board and in our wider engagement with the airport.

GACC is also an active participant in the Aviation Environment Federation, the Aviation Communities Forum and AirportWatch.  The AEF is the principal UK NGO campaigning on aviation’s impacts for people and the environment.  The ACF is an umbrella organisation formed to help communities adversely impacted by aviation share issues of common concern and which seeks to engage constructively with government, regulators and the industry to address those concerns. AirportWatch is an umbrella movement networking environmental organisations, airport community groups, and individuals opposed to unsustainable aviation expansion.
